No matter who you are, or where you're from — you have a story to tell.
Beginning this June 2024, the 58 Weeks "crew" will be venturing forth across all 50 States, the 5 permanently inhabited U.S. Territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the 574 U.S. federally recognized tribes of Native Peoples, in an effort to gather some of your stories to share and to introduce each of you to the others.
For the betterment of us all, we are:
"one Nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for All" with the intent "to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity . . ."

Living in a foreign country and adjusting to a new culture can be a very rewarding experience. But, it can also be a difficult one if you do not understand the values and assumptions of the society.
Representatives of virtually every culture from around the world over the past 247 years, since the Declaration of Independence was drafted, have found a home in this noble experiment - the Earth's great "melting pot" society until, at last, we are a culture unto ourselves. We are more than what we were, more than where we came from. We are Americans. We hold American beliefs, we share American ideals, we uphold American values, and we dream American dreams. We hold faith with our ancestral origins, but we are more than those origins. We have the Freedom to choose what and who to be, and we have the Liberty and the Will to become that which we choose.
We are individuals. We believe in equality. We don't hold with formality. We are brash, direct, assertive, and forthright. We achieve, we act, we work, we play, we gather, we embrace, we love, we hunger, we thirst, we are angered, we are right, we are wrong, we forgive, we make amends, we plan for the future, we remember the past, we share, we simply are, and our children will be.
